The Waiting Room Briefing

While your waiting to enter your 8 passenger DeLorean you'll learn that Biff Tannen has stowed away while a team of scientists were doing an experiment in 1955. Now, with Doc Brown trapped in his own office and Biff in the present with a stolen time traveling DeLorean, he could destroy the space time continuum. It will be up to you to help the Doc stop Biff and get back the time machine before it's too late.

The Ride

Now that your aboard your 8 passenger DeLorean Time Machine your ready to blast off after Biff. At 88-MPH and jump to the year 2015 (note the time clock in the front row). Its a rough ride through Hill Valley as you pursue Biff. Next jump, your a million years back in time a weaving your way through a giant ice cavern during the ice age. It goes from one extreme to the other as you travel to back to the Jurassic period and into a volcanic cavern. But you and Biff are not alone. You'll come face to face with a T-Rex that can swallow you whole. Before long, you'll have bumped Biff, traveled back to the lab and saved the day.

Discover Universal Studios: Back to the Future...The Ride Tips

This ride was loaded with warnings so definitely should have taken note of them for this attraction. Your 8 passenger DeLorean consisted of two rows. As far as tips go, the one that everyone would tell you is to try and avoid getting a seat in the second row. Because of the design of the DeLorean, the back of the car is right against your head. While it is was padded, the quick shakes this ride gave was sure to cause you to bump you head quite a bit. If you feel motion sick, the front also provided a quick spray of cool air which may help. Again, if your in the back, you may have been in for a long ride.

If you tried to ask to be placed in the 4th or 5th row position, this could have allowed you a center car in the middle of the screen.
