The Queue

As you cross the archway to the queue, both the fire and ice dragons loom above. The queue is set up in an amazing design. The wizard merlin is heard daring you to choose your fate, hot or cold, freeze or burn, fire or ice. You will choose which of two coaster you wish to ride, the red Fire Dragon or the blue Ice Dragon. Either way, your heart will be in your throat before the end.

The Ride

Feet hanging, harness in, your ready to fly. The ride shares the same lift as you are brought to dizzying heights. The dragon fight will rage as your coaster pummets downward to a ride unique from the other, reaching top speeds of roughly 55MPH to 63MPH and computer controlled so the coasters meet within 18 inches of each other. Each coaster includes a 2-minute and 25-second ride with multiple inversions which include a zero-G roll, two corkscrews, two vertical loops, and a cobra roll. Dueling Dragons is an experience you won't want to miss. For a detailed look, check out the Dueling Dragons Layout.

Coaster fanatics can maximize their experience on each coaster. On "Fire", the back row, left-side seat offer an increased lateral motion and the near-miss with "Ice" is closer. The back row also offers more floater air in the second drop. You are also have a higher starting drop at 115ft. On "Ice", the front, right-side row is considered prime due to it's proximity to "Fire" during the near-misses.
