The Ride

This is an adventure 55 million years in the making. John Hammond invites you to embark on this once in a lifetime River Adventure through Jurassic Park. You'll enter your river raft via the Jurassic Park boat dock and the adventure will begin. A leisurely raft ride through the backwaters of Jurassic Park allows the curious to see and be seen by friendly dinosaurs, until something goes terribly wrong, placing guests face-to-face with a gigantic T-Rex.

Discover Universal Studios: Jurassic Park River Adventure Tips
There really isn't any defined tip we can give for the River Adventure other than YOU WILL EGT WET. If you have anything you won't want wait, lock it up in a ziplock bag so it will not get wet, or if someone in your group is not riding, leave it with them. Also, know your child. If you have a question if your child can handle the ride. The dinosaurs in the ride are fun to watch. When you get to the Raptor area, things to get a little more intense (along the lines of JAWS). At the very end with the T-Rex, the sound is quite intense and then comes the drop from 85ft up. It is over in 2-3 seconds. You will also get a weightless feeling. Only you know if your child can handle it.
